This is a transparent watercolor painting inspired by a walk through Manito Garden's Japanese garden in Spokane , WA. A lovely peaceful place to paint, I was inspired by the beauty of a cloudy day and the colors of plants reflected in the pond.
The painting measures 13" x 17" and was created on 300lb watercolor paper. The predominate colors in this watercolor are cool blues, greens with splashes of reddish purples.
