The painting process of the paintings shown on this page began by placing objects on my canvas and tracing their intersecting shapes. Then I contemplated the emotions that these “shapes” produced. My feelings when mixed with paint created a unique fusion of imagination and abstraction. My goal was to capture the radical spirit created by allowing the energy of line and shape to mingle with the fluid layers of acrylics and paper collage. I call this technique painting from my mind’s eye. If you would like to learn more about my abstract painting methods please go to my blog post "Painting abstract art"
