"CREATING HER INSPIRED STORY"
This new figurative painting was inspired by watching one of my students paint at Manito Gardens in Spokane ,Wa. I used a variety of water media including pouring watercolors, fluid acrylics and sumi ink. This painting is framed and measures 20 x 24, comes with a rag mat under plexi-glass and ready to enjoy hanging on your wall.
Paintings from my Ghost Story Series
These paintings are the first chapters of my Ghost Story series. I began this collection in 2022. These two paintings were inspired by a trip to Natchez, MS where I was inspired by the beauty of one of the ante-bellum homes and a travelers "Stand" at this lovely southern town. ” These paintings epitomizes the perpetuity of time’. A woman's experiences flow like water. Our adventures can be charted seen ebbing from the past and streaming towards the future. Tenaciously, I/we live and as we tally up experiences, adapting our stories to make our lives work, our memories resiliently swing from the past to become optical illusions for the present.
